UN borders, Surgeries, Black and White Desert!

SO i feel like i need to give an account of my last two months here as i have been in 3 different countries! From January 19 to 30th i had an amazing opportunity to go to Morocco with my mentor. I was asked to go with her because there was a woman there that was diagnosed with a serious disease that gave her temporary peralises. This family had 3 kids all under the age of 3. I had the neat opportunity to go there and help look after the 3 kids and the woman when she was allowed to return home. Through God's healing she is healing very well and doing remarkably well! While in morocco i had the chance to be in Casablanca and Fes so i was able to see the country a bit and really enjoyed the culture!

Unfortuantly before i left my host family went through a bit of excitement as Heather found cysts in her abdominal cavity. So while i was away Heather went through surgery and got the Cysts removed. She is doing very well Praise the Lord and has had no complications! God is good! Then when i returned home from Morocco i got news from my auntie (who lives in Cyprus an hour plane ride nroth of Egypt) that she was having surgery to remove a mass that was a size of a 5 month baby. So upon returning home i went back and forth trying to figure out my schedule andfiguring out if i could go and see my auntie. February 14th i flew out to Cyprus and had 5 wonderful days with my auntie who lives there and my grandma and other auntie. It was a really neat time of rest and enjoying being with family. My auntie lives a 3 min walk from the beach so it was a really nice to walk along the beach and get that fresh air that i missed in Cairo!

So now i am home in Cairo again trying to slow down my time here as i am now seeing that only have 2 months left here in Cairo before i leave for home! Wow! I can't believe that my mind is already trying to figure out packing and figuring out summer plans! I am leaving again this thursday for four days with my intern team to go to the Black and white desert for retreat- i am really looking forward to it! But before i leave Cairo i still have another trip to go on the end of March to Turkey! Yes you read that correctly i have another amazing opportunity to go to for a a retreat to meet workers. I am really looking forward to this time of learning from these people and spending time with them hoping there wisdom will spill to me! So after that trip i am not giong anywhere else until i leave Cairo for good...i promise haha.

As of right now my time is getting filled with planning a little
afternoon service project for my girls that i teach english. We are planning a meal for those girls with my team where they can only speak English! In the classes before this i will going over questions and what we will be talking about during the meal to prep them. I think it will be a fun afternoon - especially where we make the guys on our team be the waiters!

Right now i am trying to slow my brain down from going 90 miles an hour! I can ahrdly believe the short time i have left here! Thank you so much for your prayers and i will be putting up pictures soon!
